Industrial Grade
Not just operators. Solution developers.

At Aeria Solutions, we don't simply purchase technology and deploy it - we engineer complete solutions. When you bring us a remote sensing challenge, we examine the entire problem: environment, data requirements, regulatory landscape, and operational constraints. Then we design, build, and execute a system tailored to solve it.
This is what separates industrial-grade drone operations from standard services. It's not about expensive equipment. It's about expertise, documentation, and operational discipline to deliver reliable results in environments where failure isn't an option.
Documentation That Meets Industry Standards
Our operational framework is built on comprehensive documentation exceeding regulatory minimums. We maintain a complete RPAS Operations Manual covering team competencies, roles and responsibilities, airworthiness, maintenance, general procedures, emergency protocols, communication standards, detect-and-avoid procedures, weather requirements, and incident reporting.
Our comprehensive HSE policies cover, at a minimum, safety management systems, hazard assessment, PPE requirements, fatigue management, environmental protection, contractor management, and emergency response. Comprehensive Crew Resource Management protocols address threat and error management, situational awareness, communication, workload management, decision-making, and leadership during complex operations. These aren't documents sitting in a binder. They're living frameworks guiding every field decision.
SECOR Certification and Safety Management
Aeria Solutions is working toward Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) certification through the BC Construction Safety Alliance. This certification requires demonstrating a fully functional safety management system with annual internal audits and triennial external audits.
We already maintain COR-compatible safety documentation and integrate seamlessly with partner safety systems in the resource sector. Our Health, Safety, and Environment program aligns with BC OHS Regulation, the Workers Compensation Act, and ISO 45001 standards for occupational health and safety management.
Transport Canada Certification and Compliance
Our pilots hold Advanced RPAS Operator Certificates at minimum, with Complex Level 1 certification where required. We maintain full regulatory currency as Transport Canada's rules evolve, including the November 2025 updates to CARs Part IX governing RPAS operations.
For complex operations - BVLOS, high altitude, operations over 25 kg MTOW, restricted payloads, or work near national defence aerodromes - we develop complete SFOC applications including detailed Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Specific Operational Risk Assessment (SORA) using JARUS methodology, equipment specifications and maintenance protocols, crew qualifications and emergency procedures, and detect-and-avoid system documentation. As a recognized Level 1 Complex ground school provider, we also train other operators to meet these standards.
Custom Solution Development
When clients bring us remote sensing problems, we don't just quote a flight. We analyze the complete challenge and build a system to solve it.
Custom sensor integration combines aerial, surface, and ground-based sensors into unified workflows. Our systems enable seamless above-and-below-water mapping, integrating LiDAR, SONAR, photogrammetry, thermal imaging, and ADCP data into comprehensive deliverables. For specialized applications like marine mammal monitoring, we develop species-specific disturbance protocols, obtain necessary permits, and create standardized procedures that can be replicated and scaled.
Seamless Integration with Industrial Partners
Our systems integrate directly with resource-sector safety requirements. HSE documentation, pre-qualification processes, and contractor agreements satisfy the rigorous standards of mining, energy, and infrastructure clients.
When we deploy to an industrial site, we bring complete safety management plans specific to the operation, field-level hazard assessments conducted daily, full compliance documentation for client safety systems, and emergency response protocols aligned with site-specific requirements. This is what industrial-grade means: capability to operate at the highest standards, in the most demanding environments, with complete documentation and accountability.
